We were lucky to make it on this trip. With the Euro at recent highs it made a lot more sense to stay in the USA. This time we joined up with the Sanctuary Ski Club and picked their Park City trip. Fortunately this trip included only resorts that are "snowboard tollerant" as this area has several resorts that STILL don't allow snowboards.

This time we chose to go in late March which seemed to be pushing our luck for good conditions. Once we got there the temps where in the 50s in town. Nice for hanging out, bad for snow. Fortunately the mountains still had a decent base so as long as we stayed high we were ok.

Around Park CityAround Park City
We stayed in Park City at the Park Avenue Condominiums. It's a small town so you can't be far from the lifts.

Park City Mountain Park City Mountain
The way the club scheduled it we were to visit Park City Mountain on the first and last day of skiing. This mountain was nice and close and pretty decent. Great weather didn't hurt either.

The CanyonsThe Canyons
The second and fourth days on the slopes were at the nearby The Canyons resort. It's a little larger than Park City Mountain but the snow was also much worse due to the warm weather.

SnowbasinSnowbasin
On our third day in Park City we boarded a chartered bus to take us on the 45 minute journey to the new Snowbasin resort. The weather was a bit cooler than the previous two days but still above freezing.

Snowbird Snowbird
A small group planned a last minute trip to nearby Snowbird because of rumors of better snow conditions. That didn't turn out to be the case.

Salt Lake City Salt Lake City
Ling took a day off skiing and hooked up with a small group to tour Salt Lake City.
