I can see this zoo is trying to be a world class zoo but it's not quite
there yet. It's huge with decent enclosures but seems a bit sparsely
occupied with many enclosures containing only one animal.
That said it was a pleasant visit. It was sunny and not too
hot. We noticed rest areas all over the park with shade, fans and even
water mist sprayers so it should even be tolerable in the summer.
The day we went was very empty. We felt almost like it was a private
zoo. It's a large zoo so I'm sure they can absorb a fair number of
guests. Being large there is a LOT of walking involved but there is
also a monorail that you can take from one part of the park to another.
There were also tours available riding on a trolley-like thing.
